Wen 5/10/23 mile 622 or so to Landers creek mile 604. 18 miles

Will get to the 2nd big water cache at mile 617 then some big climbing then 6 miles with a lot of pretty easy water access from miles 609 to miles 604.

Long lonely trail.

Love the Joshua trees and their flowers.

Pretty deserted.

Made it to the water cache at mile 617. Now a pretty steady climb up for 4 miles or so.

Nice views up the climb.

Got a free cold beer and Oreos and a tangerine at the top of the climb. Tastes great!

Met “OldYeller” (famous for cooking breakfast for hikers around mile 610 ( and “sherif). 2 more cold beers and chips. Life is grand!.

Camped at Robin Bird spring around mile 604. Nice quiet spot with water. About 18 miles today . Went well! Feeling good!
