Thursday 5/11/23 Landers Creek mile 604 to Golden Oak stream mile 583 (18 mile water carry)

No available water for 18 miles, so you just suck it up and walk.

Nice semi alone spot at Robin Bird spring about mile 604.

Kinda funky water source but it comes out of a pipe at about 1 liter a minute and seems clean.

Off I go!

Sun peeking thru around 6:15 am.

Kinda like being in church. A famous trail magic spot used to exist here for years, Casa Luna. Hawaiian themed and margarita. Sadly closed down last year.

Somewhere is my path.

Mile 600!

More blowdown issues. Sometimes it looks like a bomb went off. Pictures do not do it justice.

Wind turbines become visible again .

Eventually made it to the water at Golden Oak .

Around 18 miles to finish this 85.4
