July 9, 2022. Mile 1524 to mile 1534. Just Mike finds us the perfect camp spot (not on my hi tech maps, old school rules!)

Sunrise on Saturday. Caleb likes to sleep in, but he was a warrior this trip. Every day we were hiking before 8. Gotta love that boy!

Right next to camp was our diner spot. No wind, mild bugs, Shasta view, it was perfect.

6 miles out tommorrow. I miss it already.
