Cool lake, and if needed we could get there. But we planned ahead and so we admire from afar
2nd break fest at the first lake we could reach. Just Mike gave a thru hiker a payday. His eyes lit up! Till later when they went over the moon
We made it the 40 miles. Steve had cold beers in an ice chest and “kegger” our earlier friend, had a beer with us and took one for the road.
Because of my bad planning, Steve dropped me off to cover the .7 mile I missed. Sadly, it was almost all road walk. But all good.
For the next month, I would like to connect a couple of holes. Sadly they are not easy to get to. But with the support of my people that love me, magic can happen.
