6/29/23 Tuesday mile 1729 to Lil Hyatt campground mile 1743.

Nice relaxed start to the day.

A deer walked up to our campsite at breakfast. Did not want oatmeal either. Lol.

Just so pretty. This is truly a great section of the PCT for new hikers to consider.

Oregon so far has done great at trail repair. Almost perfect. But not hilly yet either .

Great trees. Lol.

Got a meadow kinda feeling.

This next video is showing our next water spot. You hike maybe 100 yards and find a fantastic piped water source. Very mushy, but love it!

This might be the easiest 57 miles I’ve done on the trail so far. And lovely!

We do get some different terrain at times

And occasionally a bathroom. Lol.

This is the Oregon “please help us recover republicans ” project. It does not do well

Sorry, just love signs.

You just can’t get tired of these views. Even though I stare at my feet 95% of the time to avoid tripping (the rocks and roots helpfully accept the dust and dirt to become invisible), the 5 % I can see is epic

2nd breakfast, 3rd lunch. Who knows?

We do find highways and streets. Mostly quiet.

Somehow this sign survived the snow.

The clouds are staying away. No cell reception at all, so we are happy no hail.

Made it to the Hyatt lake. Kinda cool.

And camp after 13 to 15 miles. Just a great day.

And yea, if my few and demented followers remember my recent chaffing issues, with help from my friends and proper attention to detail, all is good.
