Due to continuing snow issues, “Just Mike” and I have adjusted our plan.

On Monday we will shuttle from Fish Lake in Southern Oregon down to Callaghan’s in Northern California to hike 60 miles back to Fish Lake. We then will resupply and reshuttle down to Saied Valley to hike 60 miles back to Callaghan’s. It is hoped we will find the “sweet spot” in snow avoidance.

  1. Sounds like a good plan Tom. Our campsite reservations at Manzanita Lake in Lassen over the 4th just got cancelled because some campsites (in our area near the lake) were messed up from the crazy winter weather. Hope you miss the heat during your hike!
