Friday July 1, mile 1436 to 3.5 miles past Moosehead Creek mile 1451

Some epic sunset shots with Shasta views. Not to windy even though we were exposed.

A little hazy today.

Still pretty nice trail with lots of good views. Usually able to find water every 8 miles or so, not to bad.

Getting close

Much needed water source about 1/4 mile off trail. Hard to get to but the water was clean.

Can this pic get me an honorable mention at the Yolo Fair photo contest? We will see.

Temps went down. It was great being out of the 98 degree heat!

Another good day comes to a close. Awesome tent spots with great views. Very mellow nights with no wind and moderate temps.
