We started at 6:00 am in hopes of reducing the time needed to hike in the warmer sun.

2 uphills, 1st easier than the last (which turned out to be tough as we were tired.

Another day with pretty nice trail conditions.

Not many photos today as we had 17 miles to go, and I was tired. After we reached the top of the 2nd hill in good time (11 miles bay about 11 am) we took a nice lunch break at Messenger Flat.

Made it to North Fork station. Closed due to fires but a caretaker stays there and keeps an updated water cache with tons of water. Also lots of great flat camp spots. We watched a whole new bubble of thru hikers catch and pass us here. Lol.

We actually made pretty good time and covered the 17 miles quickly. I was a little soar, but overall I felt pretty good! 18 miles tomorrow to finish this section and then Craig drives us home!
