Nice easy day was appreciated after killing ourselves the day before.

A very civilized start to the hike at 8:00. We were about the last the leave as the PCT thru hikers are beasts and start very early every day.

Burnt areas are far to common.

Love the signs. You know your not lost!

We crossed highway 2 a few times. It was never far away but almost no traffic since partially closed.

Huge heavy pine combs

We were above the clouds.

Cherly leading the way. She just keeps on going.

A section of the PCT was closed to help yellow frogs mate. Frankly, no self respecting frog would get romantic here, but tons of stinky PCT hikers would certainly not help the mood, so all good. We had to road walk 3 miles to avoid stepping on mating frogs.

Road walk. Not fun
