Smoke continued to be visible, but was mostly off in the distance and did not seem to affect us.

Another sunrise. I generally started hiking 30 minutes before Craig so he could relax. Craig had no trouble catching me.
When clear, the views were awesome!
Day 3 ended at Kerrick Creek and Stubblefield Canyon at mile 982. We had to forego a brief side trip to the “Benson Riviera” as the 14 mile day and tough climbs had us tired. It’s suppose to be an epic sand beach. We will return!
