After finishing Section A (109.5 miles), hitched into Idyllwild, and have decided to stop the trek. It was wonderful and I learned a lot about myself and California hiking.
I will probably do a small part of the PCT through Burney Falls next weekend, and hope to do other sections this year.
So sad to hear about the Montezuma Market burn down. Kym and Mike were great when I stayed there 3 nights ago, and I wish them all well
When I die, please scatter my ashes on the PCT. But then pick them all up, as we Leave No Trace!
